Ron Kosmal is a former sailor in the U.S. Navy, having served aboard the USS Coral Sea (CVA 43) during the Vietnam War.  He is a 1976 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wayne State University.

Ron spent five years developing insurance and risk management skills as a commercial account underwriter and commercial underwriting manager with the Kemper and Royal Insurance Companies. He went on to become a successful Commercial Insurance Agent with Johnston, Lewis, Kramer and Kelsey and is one of the original founders of Allied Insurance Managers, Inc. in 1987.

His daily activities focus upon the insurance, bonding and risk management needs of his extensive group of new and existing customers. They include a broad array of general business, construction, and industrial clientele. Risk evaluation, claims analysis and management, financial analysis, risk transfer, loss control, safety programs, and risk avoidance are some of the tools that he employs to assist with their needs. Insurance solutions are provided via our extensive array of Admitted and Non-Admitted Insurance Companies representing all aspects of insurance endeavor.

As an active member of senior management, Ron is responsible for the overall direction of the agency.

Over the years, Ron has served many Insurance Companies as a selected member of their prestigious “Producer Advisory Councils”. He currently serves in this capacity for The Accident Fund Company and Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company.

Ron makes his home in Clinton Township, Michigan with his wife of thirty-three years, Colleen. They are the parents of three adult sons all of whom reside in the Detroit Metropolitan area. He is proud to serve as a member of the Pastoral Council of St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church and professes to “owe everything to God through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
