Ian Foster graduated from Drexel University in 2020 where he was a business finance major and a member of their Men’s Division I Lacrosse program.

Post graduation Ian became a member of Crum and Forster’s Middle Market Surety Bonds underwriting division for a year before returning to Michigan to join Mourer Foster Inc., a commercial bonds and Insurance Agency in the Lansing area. While working for Mourer Foster Inc., Ian’s roles consisted of being a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent as well as the Director of their Bonds Division. As Bonds Director, he would oversee the day-to-day operations of the department as well as build his own book of P&C business. In addition to these roles, Ian was also in charge of running one of Mourer Foster’s small Captive Programs for pet care professionals. This program was available nationwide.

After 4 years with Mourer Foster Inc., Ian joined Allied Insurance Mangers Inc. as a Sales Executive and Bonds Specialist. Ian’s areas of expertise consist of:

Ian has been an active member of Michigan’s Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA), Association of General Contractors (AGC Michigan), The Builders Exchange and The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).

In Ian’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also likes the outdoors whether it’s hunting, fishing, playing golf or going for a run. Ian tries to fit something active into each day.
